Concerts in Stratford-upon-Avon
October 2025 - March 2026
We are pleased to present 6 concerts opening with Emma Johnson and the Carducci String Quartet. The Fibonacci String Quartet, Rossetti Ensemble, Zemlinsky Trio and Alasdair Beatson give the subsequent concerts and we end the season with the Elmore Quartet. The music includes works by Haydn, Brahms, Mozart, Beethoven, D'Indy, Schumann, Ravel and a world premiere by Rhian Samuel.

The Zemlinsky Trio brings together three talented chamber music soloists: Emma Abbate, described as ‘an amazingly talented pianist’ Evva Mizerska, named ‘rising star’ by Strad, is an award-winning cellist. Clarinettist Peter Cigleris has appeared on ‘In Tune’ with the Tippett Quartet, and on the Radio Three lunchtime recital.

Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson works prolifically as soloist and chamber musician, adept on modern and historical instruments, and renowned as both performer and pedagogue. Notable performances in 2025 include multiple appearances at London’s Wigmore Hall.

The Elmore Quartet is an award-winning Quartet based in London, where they are currently Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
From their first sight-reading session at the start of their studies in 2017, the Elmores were bitten by the chamber music bug and have been pursuing their dream of performing chamber music together for audiences across the world ever since.
